STRATUS brings together experience from the flight deck, airport operations, safety education, and regulatory consulting to solve risk where it actually lives: in the operation.

How STRATUS began

Between the standard and the operation, there must be understanding.

STRATUS grew from founder and principal consultant Gabriel Bernardo Liberman's firsthand experience across aviation: flight operations, airport and cargo operations, frontline leadership, instruction, course development, and regulatory consulting in Brazil, Canada, and the United States.

Working from the cockpit to the ramp—and from the classroom to regulatory implementation—revealed a recurring gap. Organizations may have standards, manuals, and procedures in place, yet still need help translating them into decisions that work under real operational pressure.

Incorporated in Oklahoma in January 2026, STRATUS was created to close that gap: independent expertise that connects compliance with human performance, infrastructure, organizational learning, and the realities of day-to-day aviation.

Gabriel holds a postgraduate degree in Aviation Safety and Continuing Airworthiness from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) and a bachelor's degree in Civil Aviation from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi. He holds commercial pilot credentials issued by ANAC, the FAA, and Transport Canada.

His experience includes current flight operations as First Officer on the Beechcraft King Air C90GTx, international ferry operations, air cargo coordination at Guarulhos International Airport, leadership roles in Canadian airline ground operations, flight simulation instruction, and aviation training programs aligned with ANAC and FAA frameworks.

Gabriel's 2021 postgraduate capstone project examined the use of artificial intelligence for fatigue detection in aviation professionals. That continuing interest in emerging risk, human performance, and practical prevention informs STRATUS's forward-looking approach to safety.
